Carl’s is hands down the best auto mechanic shop I’ve ever experienced. It’s like they totally missed the memo that mechanics aren’t supposed to be so cool. But seriously, George takes the time to explain the work, and treats his customers like they are smart enough to understand. It makes a big difference. All the guys that work the gas pumps are always really pleasant too.

I have to say I was disappointed. I stopped in for gas and to get my tires aired up. I was dressed for an appointment. It was like pulling teeth to get help airing up my tires, which was really frustrating since both bays were empty. I also needed an oil change, low beam bulbs, and a state inspection. They were going to charge me 80$ for the inspection. 😲 For everything I needed done they were going to charge me well over 200$ was able to get the inspection for free and everything else for 153$. Carl's provides full service with an old-school, small town feel. The owner employs many of the area's students and they are courteous and polite with every fill up. My Wife and I make a point to always refuel at Carl's, even holding off on gassing up elsewhere, specifically because of the quality service, close community ties and all around quality of service provided.
