I ordered Chicken Fried Steak from DD and the gravy was literally water. This has never happened before and I couldn’t finish my meal. The kitchen literally mixed in water because they did not have the real gravy ready. It cost money to eat out, so effort needs to be made. Please do better. I’ll be taking a break from Carl’s BBQ. I called the restaurant and the manager told me they have the correct gravy now. That does me no good.

I would have preferred them not cover my entire plate with BBQ sauce. I ordered something to go and not only was it expensive, thirty bucks! but also the whole thing was covered in BBQ sauce. They should not make the decision to do that on a togo plate. You can always add BBQ sauce but its harder to take it away. The amount of sauce kind of ruined the plate that I paid alot for. The meat was good, the sides were good.. but the price and the fact that it was ruined with a gallon of sauce wrecked the experience.

Been coming here for years and the food is always amazing! I absolutely love their baked potato’s and the Banana pudding is just out of this world! A little pricey but none the less for great food like this it’s worth it 😊
