Dr. Carlos is a great person overall! He helped me out quite alot with finding the right prescription for my eyes. I Couldn't have asked for a better appointment that this. Debbie is also a fantastic employee! Shes very sweet and caring. She helped me find the right glasses for the right prices under my budget! Can't thank them enough for it!

He was in a very big rush, though I came early. Immediately tells me my left eye has a HOLE in it. I even asked in total disbelief 'Are you sure??'. He calls up an ophthalmologist, makes an appt for me. At that appt, absolutely nothing wrong with my eye. However, opthomalogist at that office dialated both eyes to the max. Then, since a headcount limit in lobby, they practically pushed me out the door. facing direct bright sunlight. I had to drive myself home that way. And, THAT was a specialist...so $59 over my ins coverage ... read more
Love doctor Ortiz but the dude that answers the phone for him has lost me as a customer! Dr should be where he has a good front person. If you can’t help a patient then you should have the dr call them not just answer for him. I am more than unhappy to have to go to another dr because of a poor front person.
My kids and I have seen Dr. Ortiz at Sams Optical in Valdosta for 2 years now and he does a fantastic job. Great listener, very personable and professional.
