This place serves the best breakfast delights! Their menu itself is great! I had a caramelized sugar sweet croissant with a very pleasant texture, and got our favorite build-your-own breakfast sandwiches! Every item is made to perfection, and with care. It had so much flavor and a nice cinnamon touch. Highly recommend and will be a go for us! The service was also so friendly and great!

you must not be italian... I've had pastries and cakes from all over NJ, Brooklyn, NYC, etc. The pastries and cakes and EVERYTHING are delicious at Carlo's. Ok, a little pricey, but it's Hoboken and a lot of hard work goes into running a place like that. any true italian would not be put off by the personalities of the owners or workers. they are just personalities...not attitudes! stop complaining and enjoy your food. by the way, i would not refund someone either just because they changed their mind to by a cheaper birthday... read more
Top Of The Line I ordered a Red Velvet Cake for my wifes birthday March 16, 2010, and let me tell you it was without a doubt the best cake I've ever eaten, and I'm not a cake eater more of a cheese cake fan. This Red Velvet cake was so delicious it actually feeds ten people cutting normal slices, and six if you cut them extra large. Between my wife and myself we almost ate the whole cake, that's how good it was!!! I'll never go anywhere else!!!! The BEST BAKERY in the Tri-State Area, and I come from Staten Island!!!!!
Amazing,amazing show!!!!! I have only watched the show-I plan on making a trip to the bakery summer of 2010 on my Vacation. They seem sooo amazing and are truly artists in the World of Baking! Incredible:)
Carlo's Bakery is THE BEST! Stopped by Carlo's Bakery 9/18/09 after watching the show on TLC. I purchased a chocolate cake, cannoli's, lobster tails and they all were the best I have ever had! The lobster tails were UNBELIEVABLE as was the cannoli's. The cake was delicious as well and remained moist and delicious for days. The staff was efficient ,courteous and patient. FAN. TAS. TIC!!!!! Drove 2 1/2 hours to visit Carlos. Waited in line, in the rain, for 1/2 hour and another 1/2 hour inside to place our order. WORTH EVERY MINUTE!! Great experience all around. Adorable, friendly, knowledgeable young woman helping us. Delicious pastry and crumb cake. Can't wait to go back!
