Dr Jurani is very kind and professional. Amazing bedside manners. Provides information about procedures and demonstration. He called to follow up after the surgery. No longer than 15 minutes wait for appointment time. I would recommend him in a heart beat!
I was recently diagnosed with stage 1 colon cancer, and was referred to Dr. Jurani to perform my sigmoid colectomy (sigmoid colon removal). My initial visit with Dr. Jurani went incredibly well. He explained everything that he was going to do, what to expect, and what post-surgery would look like. He took the time to answer all of the questions that my wife and I had, and trust me there were plenty of questions. I am a clinician and I became very ill suddenly. I walked into the ER and they did not know what was wrong. It got worse over the next week. Dr. Jurani was recommended by everyone I spoke to. He explained I needed to do the surgery asap. I asked him if I could wait a few days. He said Nope. He scheduled me for the next morning and I was the only surgery and patient he had that day because he was traveling to Haiti to save lives. The BEST surgeon - PERIOD. There is a reason that Dr Jurani's photo is on the cover the Shawnee Mission Surgery Center. Unfortunately, I have had to encounter many surgeries in my life. Without question Dr Jurani has the best personality, uses the most up to date techniques and actually deeply cares about his patients. He has a small efficient office and not only can see you quickly but can also schedule procedures much faster than others. Dr J gave me his personal cell phone to follow-up
Dr. Jurani is an amazing physician. He genuinely cares for his patients and their comfort. I've never had a physician call me on a Saturday or Sunday to see how I was doing. Dr. Jurani did. I had an exceptional surgical outcome. Thank you Dr. Jurani.
I was a patience of his , I had my gallbladder removed and I want to say , I would recommend him if you have issues with yours, because he did a great job, even on the scaring of the procedure , little small incisions, I can eat now and, I feel like a new person w/o my gallbladder.
