After having my appt rescheduled twice and taking over 6 months to get in to see Dr Steber, he ordered an MRI. I got the results back through portal but nothing from Dr or upmc to follow up or tell me what next steps would be. I am experiencing constant pain in this foot with affecting my employment as well as sleep. I called UPMC to find out what was going on and they told me that the Dr. had resigned and they would see if Dr Steber could still review MRI. They are the best of all the rest.
I usually don't give bad ratings or reviews, but my experience was not good at all. I had an infected Ingrown Toe-Nail on my right big toe. I wanted part of the toe-nail removed permanently. Everyone was kind but seemed to be in a bit of a hurry. They gave me a numbing shot in my toe (didn't ask if I wanted numbing spray before the shot) and then left the room to let the shot finish numbing my toe. Dr Steber has been so patient with me after my foot surgery. I had lots of questions and he was always quick to respond. The nurses an staff at UPMC Carlisle Hospital has nothing but wonderful things to say about him.
During the fall of 2020, I severely sprained both of my ankles. I had 2 surgeries done, one in December, 2020 and one in March, 2021. It is now July of 2021 and I am up and running thanks to Dr. Steber! He is a kind, intelligent doctor, who does what he believes for his patients. The office is always clean and the staff are wonderful. Thank you all for everything! Highly recommended!
