Unfortunately this dealership falls far short of living up to the quality Brand that Volvo is. We love our Volvo's, however this dealership will be the reason they are our last Volvo’s. They constantly say they are overbooked. The last time we brought my wife’s xc40 in they had it for 3 months! My Xc90 broke down last week and they are non committal in being able to say when they will look at it to diagnose the issue. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication at Volvo Carling Ottawa. In fall 2024, I arranged to have a rim repaired during the winter months. On March 13, 2025, I visited the dealership to also address a cracked sunroof and was assured that both issues would be followed up on. That never happened. This dealership is a joke. I’ve Been calling the parts department for 3 days and no one answers the phone or return calls after I’ve left voicemails multiple times. The service department is not any better. It’s sad how the capital only has these guys as a Volvo dealer. Worst run business.
Just purchased a Volvo from Carling Motors, Martin and Mahamadou were fantastic. You know how it is with the kids and hockey schedules – you need something reliable and the whole process to be seamless. They really looked after us and made it super easy. If you're in the market for a new car, connect with their team!
This was a truly disappointing experience—something I’ve never encountered in Canada before. We sat there for 45 minutes and no one came to offer any assistance, while others who arrived after us were being helped right away. It’s hard to understand how this showroom is being managed with such disregard for customer service.
