Carlin House is a small assisted living community nestled in the beautiful Hocking Hills. The staff provides a loving and caring environment where seniors call "home." Our family feels deeply appreciative that our community has such a wonderful facility which nurtures and cares for people who need assisted living. My mother has lived at Carlin House for over two years and LOVES her Carlin home and family!
I would give less than one star if I could. Please, if you care for your elderly family members, do not use this facility. They break federal rules by opening the residents mail and stealing gift cards and anything else of value. They overmedicate (they had my Gran on 3x/daily dose of oxycodone along with valium), and they neglect the residents and treat them like cash cows with no feelings. Good people. They take care of Momma like family. My brothers and I are so happy to have Carlin. My mother loves it there.
