Walked in service was great, staff were friendly. As we approached the host stand, I was hit with a noxious odor that I couldn't really pin point. We sat down, and my partner stated “it smells weird”, almost like cat pee. When this was stated I had to agree. Its unfortunate but there is a pungent odor that management has to resolve; It’s not conducive to dining. Otherwise the app. We got was good, but we decided to go elsewhere due to the odor.
This is the first time we tried Carly’s Ristorante in Harrisburg. We started with the pumpkin spice, espresso martinis and the burrata and both were absolutely amazing! The burrata was out of this world! I had the shrimp and crab Tuscany and my wife had the Bolognese and both were amazing! I had hoped for a more elevated dining experience, especially after making the trip into the city for what I expected to be an enjoyable dinner. While the food and service itself was decent, the overall atmosphere fell short of expectations. Upon being seated, I noticed my chair was broken, and my beverage was flat. the drinks & food here are the best in harrisburg. Owen is one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met - his drinks are carefully crafted & taste delicious. The food is insanely good too - go with the pasta. We love this spot and can’t wait to come back.
Really great place. Had a groupbof 20 and we were taken care of from start to finish. Friendly and fast. Food was really good the filet was outstanding. Thanks for a great night.
