It seems like during hhe time we have been here (currently 2 hrs and 40 minutes)here have been less than 1 patient per hour. Beautiful ER building but short on the service. I was in the QC hospital 1 night and overheard a young doctor complain about the ER being used like the McDonald's of medicine and that there should be a minimum wait time of 4 hours for anyone coming in. Is that now the reality of service at ER departments of our costly buildings and medical equipment??
Do not go to this hospital if you require obstetric care! I was admitted and left waiting for over three hours, only to be told they could not provide the care I needed.
Was in the emergency for a good part of the day with my LO Yesterday I want to thank all the staff who have been so nice ,competent and treated us with so much compassion .Excellent care .
Not recommended if you are not bleeding to death - even so, try QCH or wait till an Apple tree clinic opens. Their doctors can't take out a simple surgical drains. I went to an Apple tree clinic snd they removed it within seconds.
