The new emergency dept is beautiful and modern. The parking is $5 for 24 hours with in and out privileges. The staff is friendly and helpful

Nobody wants to have to visit the ER, but when you need to – this is the place to go. I was met with kindness and compassion and seen very quickly. The doctors and nurses are lovely.

I had to bring my 1 year old daughter to the emergency room at Carleton Place Hospital due to a high fever and illness, and I can’t say enough good things about the care we received. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly caring and compassionate. They went out of their way to help, especially seeing that my hands were full with a sick little one. Visited CP emerge last fall when I broke my leg & ankle at work- the staff were really amazing! Severe injury so I thankfully didn't have to wait too long to get set up & taken to the Civic in Ottawa. The CP nurses & Dr on shift were really kind, compassionate & patient with helping me through the initial stages of a super tough injury- they even laughed at my jokes! Was my first and only visit so far, hopefully my last but if it happened again that's where I'd want to go!
