I’ve been in the hospital three times since its reopening there seems to be a huge difference in the ER’s care for its patients, I’m not sure how exactly but I appreciate it immensely! My experience with healthcare to date has been disappointing/disheartening. I’ve never felt listened to, like I’m being an inconvenience and my outlook on healthcare had no hope. Horrible receptionist/nurse, what a shame! Update Went back this time for severe back pain. Waiting time was 4 to 8 hours. I’ve waited 4 hours then left because there were still so many people ahead of me. They said there’s only have one doctor in ER. This is not a free healthcare, it is a mockery. When you loose a full day pay, it’s not free service. Updated June 2025 New ER, brighter and bigger. Looks great but I guess they are out of funds because it is still 8 to 12 hours wait time. Thank you to all the staff at this small but welcoming hospital. All around me during my 4 day stay I observed kindness and compassion from all staff members who put in 12 hour shifts . From Emergency to the medical/surgical ward I was treated with professionalism. Hospital food was pretty good and staff did their best to accommodate my restrictions. 👍🏾👍🏾
