I recently moved from Wixom MI and I feel right at home. I don't hear trains or wind. Just people coming and going down the steps. But, sometimes I can block them out. I Love it here.
Decent apartments for low income folks
I do not live here but I have a few friends that live here. When I have visited them before the place seems nice for the rent. Some of the units have new carpeting and flooring but some others do not and it is kind of grungy but I guess that is to be expected... It is pretty quiet here except for the trains because it is Carleton but overall I think that it is a nice place to live if you are just starting out on your own and need a place to call home.
