This place is scary. They will neglect you if they think nothing is wrong. The dr was able to diagnose me but it was very hurtful for them to make me feel like I was just being delusional. They also gave me medication that normally is given to people that are close to dying. I had a severe adverse reaction and they said that I was just being dramatic. They also tried to not mark it in my chart that I was severely allergic to the medication they gave me. I had to go to OSF for them to put the allergy in my record. The psychia... read more

My son a student at ISU, went to your Emergency Department with a severe cut on his finger sustained at work. He was actively bleeding and in significant pain. Despite this, he was left in the waiting room for hours without any medical evaluation or pain relief. I called to check on him and spoke with a staff member named Brittany, who showed no empathy, was dismissive, and ultimately hung up on me while I was trying to express concern for my son's well-being. Recently had our son in the ER and other than the wait time I couldn't be happier with the care he was given! Thank you so much for a great team taking care of him and being so close to ISU ❤️🖤
