I have seen Dr. Ribiero several times for various issues over the past 5 years. Making an appointment through Online scheduling is fast and easy, and one can often can be seen in the same day. I find her to be exquisitely attentive and very thorough in explaining and showing (via X-ray) conditions or problems that exist. She does offer options for treatment when possible, and explains what to expect in the short and long term with treatment and healing. Her receptionist is also quite personable and helpful. Met with Dr. Ribeiro today for the first time for a second opinion on a foot/ankle issue and left completely satisfied with my entire experience. She was professional and very courteous and provided outstanding information that I feel will finally provide me some relief. Her receptionist is just as nice. Overall a very good experience.
I came to Dr. Ribeiro for a second opinion after my dissatisfaction with another podiatrist. She was very thorough in discussing my health and treatment options. She offered several non surgical options to try before making surgery one. Yesterday I called her assistant to forward the information by email and Dr. Ribeiro took the time to send me a very detailed email with the information that I was looking for. She had also diagnosed something my previous doctor missed.
18 months ago Dr. Ribeiro performed a bunionectomy with hammer toe correction on my right foot.. when the cast was removed, my foot was swollen beyond recognition. And After 90 days, the doctor released me from her care, still in severe pain, swelling, and no flexibily in my big toe, Until now, I have refrained from comment on this practice. However, after consulting another foot surgeon confirming my concerns, I must advise anyone considering bunion surgery with this doctor, do your research!
