Gave me an antibiotic along with steroid that was too high of a dose for a minor ear piercing infection. This apparently caused my pancreas to shut down and nearly killed me. I called her the day before I was taken to the ER (and then taken to ICU for 5 days) and described my symptoms, which I later found out described DKA, and her reply was that I was not eating enough food with my antibiotic.
