Dr. Carl Karoub is a brilliant and caring physician. He's very dedicated, detailed, knowledgeable and loves helping people. He has a wonderful staff that helps him. He's been practicing medicine over 40 years. Myself, my family and friends have been under his professional medical care for many years. We are very blessed to have found him. As an internal medicine doctor, It doesn't get any better than him.
Dr. Carl was my parent’s physician for many years. As they aged, he listened, he cared, he gave them a wonderful quality of life. Never rushed, always taking however much time they needed. Dr. Carl is one of a kind and we’re lucky he was their doctor.
Very strange. Came in for a physical and he just saw me in the waiting room (fully clothed of course), listened to my heart, then sat across the room from me to discuss my bloodwork and called it my physical. Never touched me. I thought a physical was supposed to be 'physical'. Never checked my eyes, ears, skin (for possible cancer), reflexes, never gave me an EKG even though there's heart disease in my family. The office is going to bill it as a physical. This is a sham. However, he's a personable fellow.
Has been my new doctor for a while. When my dr of 25 years retired, I tried friends recommendations that I didn't like. On my 1st visit Dr Karoub was genuinely friendly and connected right away. He cared and made me laugh, that is his best therapy.
Great Dr, great bedside manner, but more importantly a great man!
I have recommended Dr. Carl to people we know. He is an excellent doctor. Only complaint is he uses his own software and not Beaumont’s to input test results, etc.
Nice talker, unlike his flippant brother Fred, but a very negligent doctor in that he gave me antibiotics over an 18 month span for a chest cold and I had bronchitis which was diagnosed at an Urgent Care facility on Campbell Road in Royall Oak ; this doctor said antibiotics were useless for bronchitis, gave me prednisone and in less than a week, I was breathing normally. Would never recommend either Carl or Fred for anything but a laugh.
