Dr. Frank studied the record we brought to the consult before coming into the room, listened carefully to what we said and then offered a well-reasoned response for making his recommendation to not put my husband through a procedure that was unnecessary. He offered this in a compassionate manner. It was probably one of the easiest decisions he made that day; but, he still took the time to offer it with excellence. You cannot find that in every provider!
Office efficiency. Professional demeanor of Dr. Frank.
Austin Gastroenterology has a policy that requires they submit the procedure as 'diagnostic' rather than 'screening' to insurance. This vastly changes the out of pocket expense to the patient. I verified with my insurance that this should be a screening, but Austin Gastroenterology refuses to adjust. I have cancelled my procedure and will seek another, more customer focused provider.
First time… he did t seem comfortable so then I felt uncomfortable too
Have a high respect for the care received from Dr Frank in Georgetown, Texas, knowledgeable current expertise in his field.
We were send on time. Dr. Frank was very straight forward in answering questions, and scheduled followup GI Tests. Our visit was on time, and expectations for future visits were explained following GI Tests.
I chose Dr Frank due to his rating and expertise. After speaking with him, I decided to wait another month due to Christmas and deciding to try a few things first. I am hesitant about tests but Dr Frank made me feel very at ease and I will most definitely choose him if the plan I am trying does not improve some symptoms.
Felt a lot of anxiety heading into the procedure. The day of the procedure was a breeze. Prepped up, met the anesthesiologist, wheels me in to the room, please turn in your side and next thing I know I'm in recovery with zero discomfort. Worst part is drinking that god-awful liquid to clean you out the day before. I hear there are pills that accomplish the same thing so that's the way to go. As good an experience as I could have hoped for.
I’ve had a good relationship with Dr. Frank for many years. He’s my “Go To” Gastro Doc. Very thorough and very competent.
