Initially, when he was putting on a show for his smattering of medical trainees, I was impressed by how thorough he was. He had no audience when he gave me. Feedback interrupted belittled, nasty.
Dr. Lauter is a brilliant physician. Beaumont and OU are beyond fortunate to have him on their staffs. He takes the time to uncover a thorough history and develop a plan ----most doctors these days either don't know how to do that or are too busy to care to do it. I have nothing but utmost praise for Dr. Lauter
Absolutely deplorable. He’s inconsiderate and honestly acts as if he could care less and the fact you have an appointment is a huge inconvenience and infringement on his time. And if you previously had COVID-19 and are continuing to suffer, don’t even get me started. He asks ZERO questions about your health and/or symptoms at which point he determines you are “fine” because you were “positive but now you’re negative so you’re fine” and now “what do you even need him for.” It “seems you don’t even want this appointment” and y... read more
I have been seeing Dr. Carl Lauter since 2003 for a primary immune disorder. He is a amazing doctor and I consider him a friend at this point. Dr. Lauter is a Guru. I highly recommend him. Great person and physician.
Dr. Lauter's help understanding my immune issues have been wonderful. He takes your history apart and builds hope. Every visit to him since 2009 has helped me improve. Office staff could improve. Make sure you get the name of who to speak to and time frame for return call. Very difficult getting medical records sent to you referring dr.even thou dr L says there isn't it's not him it's the staff.
