coming from Chicago I finally found a real restaurant in this G-d forsaken state.
The best server ever!!! Gavin!!! I’m a chef and I was a bit disappointed. Thinking it must of been an off night. First time I ever heard of pesto being made with arugula!! Very sour tasting, definitely not great. Should of put it on the menu that way. A big no-no!! Lollipop lamb chops two were medium and one over cooked only 3 on the plate. Food was served somewhat warm. Hot peppers amazing, calamari(balsamic) great!

We have lived in Shelton for 13 years and have driven by Carl Anthony’s hundreds of times without ever eating there. We should have known it would be good when it sits in a plaza where nothing survives but this place and an underrated Indian restaurant. Food was great, drinks were great, service was great. I had their signature burger. I consider myself a burger expert and it was fantastic. We spied others around us and commented that all the food looked great. I can’t wait to go back.
Amazing food!! Service was great, except we were never offered refills on our drinks and even had to ask for a refill on water. Other than that, everything was amazing. Will definitely be going back.
My wife and I are huge fans of Carl Anthony’s. Sam is an owner that greets patrons, and makes you aware that he’s glad that you came. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and we love that the menu has many awesome & unique “everyday” items, as well as several creative plates that will please many tastes. We also enjoy live music on Fridays, And having dinner and drinks on the patio when the weather warms up.
