So I went to this doctor when I was 23 at the time for my cronic tendonitis in my hands (I am now 26). I told her i play video games all the time and she told me "my pump was primed" meaning my tendons were shot and there is nothing I could do about it. She clearly does not understand how to properly treat tendonitis and heal tendons probably because she is a surgeon and would rather just cut you open. I wish I could give Dr. Meyer 10 stars and a hug. I saw two doctors prior and they gave me massive doses of motrin and meloxicam. I was losing the function of my left hand. Dr. Meyer diagnosed my hand immediately and ordered an MRI to confirm. I decided to have surgery, which was more invasive and painful than I'd anticipated. However, I am now doing pushups, pullups, riding my motorcycle - back 100%. Thank you Dr. Meyer! She's a Rockstar!
This doctor did nothing for my husband's hand except to tell him it was bruised and then she had the nerve to bypass our insurance which she was supposed to take and send him a bill for almost $1000.
The doctor was very warm and professional. She not only treated my issue with my hands but helped me understand what was going on. Appreciate that I didn't have to wait at the office long to be seen!
If you’re looking for a doctor with no bedside manner she’s it. What you can expect is a document they ask you to sign to be personally financially liable for their $300 splints which cost $26.99 on Amazon. For some reason she doesn’t want to do any medical procedures that insurance will pay for. Go figure!
