We just came back from Carinis. it was our first time going and it was incredible. the waiter was extremely nice and pleasant, the chef came out and talked to us about our food. ORDER THE CALAMARI STEAK. its to DIE for.
WONDERFUL SICILIAN FOOD This is honestly- the BEST Italian food I have ever tasted. The chief is actually from Sicily, and the food is authentic. Rich flavors, and great dessert (the tiramisu is very unique). YUM YUM
Rude staff, long wait time for food, terribly expensive, food not that great at all, very overrated. – At first when we arrived, the staff was very pleasant but as the night went on they became inattentive and rude. the prices went up again – I suggest that if this place is to raise the prices of both the food and the wine to a fine dining price, then I suggest removing the red tape that is holding the carpeting together. I would also suggest a lot more consistency in the meals prepared. The pastas and sicilian entrees that I've tried are never prepared the same. this beats Buca's any day – I have been introduced to Peter Carini's restuarant by excellent reviews from my peers. I was immediately taken in by the amazing ambiance and personable service from both the waitstaff and the entire Carini family. Stupendous – I have been to my fair share of Italian Restaraunts but this one is arguably one of the of the best I've ever been too. A very extensive menu, with most dishes heavy on garlic, which is what I like. The service was exquisit, polite, and prompt. The tables are close together so if you are clashtrapohbic be aware its tight. Still and all-around great place and I definately will visit again.
