Horrible scammers. Charged my mom way too much, trashed some of her things, sold some without giving profits to my mom and left important items in the garage for trash pickup. They treat their employees very badly. Do not trust them.
From start to finish, this company handled the shipping of a credenza from Florida to California, helped in the move of my 88 year old dad from his home to an assisted living place and also finished the final clean up of all left over at the end. They were prompt with responses to emails, texts, and phone calls. Their overall demeanor (everyone involved) was way above the norm in our society today, ie. friendliness, courtesy and professionalism. We recently moved from Jacksonville, Florida to Rochester, NY. We chose Caring Transitions because we were downsizing and were not familiar with our new apartment. Michelle coordinated with the Rochester franchise and was able to help us choose what furniture to bring and where to place it. The packers, Nicole and Doug, under Laura's supervision, did a great job packing and advising us what to take or leave. They are scamming the elderly charged a couple 3000 to move a small room to another place didn't even properly pack items put everything in a big box together not even wrapping the picture or knick nacks works spent whole time on the phone and jacking around deserve a 0 star beware of this company and others like it please
Very prompt arrival, everything was packed and over packed for breakage, we did not have any breakage , I know that's always a worry. They finished in 3 1/2 hours , which was pretty quick considering elevator, you would think that's faster, some said slower, but wasn't bad overall in our opinion. Thank you again , we would diffenately use them again, polite , courtesy, price goes a long way.
