I had a small piece of plywood fall into my eye from a loose shelf up at a height. Couldn't see it when I looked in the mirror, but I could feel it. Carina saw me the next day within an hour of me asking her, and she gave up her family time to completely flush out my eye, lids and all - was so thorough and she got the piece of plywood out!! Dr Carina is an exceptional optometrist. We consulted her for my child's high myopia. We were very anxious regarding the situation, but she put us and our child at ease. She presented us with the diagnosis and all the options to manage his myopia. We have regular follow-ups with her and she is patient and answers all our queries. I wish I had found Dr Carina earlier, she's been a god-send to us. If you have a child with high myopia, this is the professional to visit.
Carina had been thorough and meticulous in investigating eye issues I experienced following complex medical issues. She went above and beyond to consult with other professionals in the field, and was able to provide me with guidance and resolution in what had been, an uncertain period.
