My grandfather was transferred to Toledo Hospital and since then his health has went extremely down hill. I have been told by both the doctor and nurses that they are understaffed and have too many patients to regularly check on their patients and call people when issues arise. I walked into his room yesterday while he was sedated to find soiled sheets thrust around his room and they had been there for some time (considering he was rushed for a CT 2 hours prior and then heavily drugged, so they were there for at least 2 hour... read more
I was at Toledo Hospital overnight due to a car accident. I could not have been more impressed. The staff was extremely professional, punctual and friendly. Within seconds of calling for a nurse, they were in my room. I felt like I was the only patient that they had. Even the housekeeper who cleaned my room while I was in the hospital bed was so friendly. If the need ever arises in the future, Toledo Hospital is my first choice.
Went to Toledo hospital with the symptoms of severe headache, stiff neck, and vomiting. No test were run. I was given two narcotics and a pill to stop throwing up and discharged. Is this really the kind of care that you give. I will go to Mercy hospitals from now on. Promedica hospitals are nothing, but a joke and a band aid station who doesn't give a crap about your health.
My Husband was brought in ER Cardiac yesterday for severe Chest Pains. He had blood work to check Cardiac enzymes and Chest xrays and a EKO which thankfully were normal. We had to wait over 2 hours for Stat blood results. Never one time did an MD or Cardiologist come in the room. The nurse informed us my Husband nended an Echogram and Stress test I was well aware of these tests since I had a Heart November 17, 2010. THEY KEEP MY FAMILY ALIVE . THEY ARE VERY ATTENTIVE WITH THERE PATIENTS AND MAKE SURE THEY GET THE HELP& CARE THEY NEED TO MAKE THEM WELL !
