We had two massages from "Carel Rodriguez". spelling?? Amazing massages, really strong hands. We had both a deep tissue and then a hot stone massage. I think we both preferred the deep tissue. I had a terrific foot massage and my friend really liked his shoulder work, and she is recovering from a back surgery. Carel is a REALLY terrific masseuse! He's one of the good ones, you won't be disappointed! Thank you, Carel, Karelle, or Corelle??? We love you.
Amazing experience!
Nice enough hotel and people were generally nice, although many random things weren’t right or didn’t work properly. Internet service was almost entirely unusable for the whole stay. Restaurant was closed Monday/Tuesday. Random stuff in the room wasn’t working, no hand soap, etc. Took over 24 hours to get a delivery actually to me.
This is not a wellness resort. Beware the 'wellness' services especially OYA services - this is a complete rip off and the hotel takes no responsibility for it (see description below). For over $4500 for 3 night stay, I am appalled at the experience and would recommend going to any other 5 star resort in the same area because the beach is beautiful. Day pass experience: Their marketing strategy involves displaying pictures of an attractive and spacious swimming pool, which you cannot access with a day pass since it is exclusively for their guest rooms. When you express dissatisfaction with what they call a 'manager', she laughed in your face while having zero knowledge of customer service or good marketing practices.
