Terrible awful hated it. Doctors? Bad. Staff are decent depending on who's on shift. Rooms? You better pray you dont get the side with a bright light in your window all night. Food is awful and disgusting. The rules make you go even crazier. The groups can be either great, mediocre, or down right hell. 0/10 would not recommend, made my mental health so much worse.

I don’t remember the exact dates I was a patient here, but I know I was there over Christmas and New Year’s last year. When I first got there, I was terrified and stayed in my room for about three days straight — I didn’t even come out to eat. Honestly, I don’t think patients should be allowed to stay in their rooms all day, as it can worsen depression. Staff: Most of the staff were great. My favorite girls were CJ, Gabi, and Jae. I spent a week here. And the rooms were cleaned regularly while I was there as well as common areas and classroom. Truely the staff and group of kids I was with made my experience not so horrifying it helped m... read more

Would leave 0 stars if I could. It was terrible, and I was placed in a children's psychiatric hospital as a college student, where I was treated like a 11 year old with nurses I could've went to high school with. It's ridiculous, and I exited that hospital feeling worse about the same reason I was admitted (to put it in a family friendly way.) There's no respect towards you, and Virginia Tech uses kids as test subjects for their psychology students, how ethical. I hope this ward loses funding, and you guys never try to "trea... read more
