Getting someone on the phone to make or reschedule an appointment is next to impossible. I called on three different days, and the wait time was over 17 minutes, prompting me to send a message through MyChart which was never responded to. Additionally, I was not pleased with Dr. Naldo. He was dismissive, and I felt like he was in a hurry and rushing me. Been taking my mom here for a bad knee. She's been seeing the PA who is very nice and always says if we need anything, just call the office. HOWEVER, calling the office is impossible because you always get put on ETERNAL hold!!! I asked to be connected to the nurse's voice-mail to leave a message and the operator said "sure" and promptly connected me ----- not to a voice-mail but back on ETERNAL hold again!! Unacceptable!! I saw a PA there for pain that I had been having for 10 weeks. I was not heard and he told me to come back in 6 weeks and see someone smarter than him. When I went to check out, I told them that they wanted me to see Dr. Knight and they told me that he was extremely particular about who he saw and they would let me know I will not be going back.
I had a bad 1st impression with him when my daughter injured her foot about 21 days ago and he told me it was "Just a bruise" she'd get over it in less than a few days and gave her a ortho wood sole shoe... under that impression I went ahead and took her on vacation, her foot became worse, came home made an appt with another ortho in Radford VA and he see's fractures, ect and he decides with put her in a boot. Very nice office staff and Dr.Maher explained my diagnosis and treatment plan so well . So I had rotator cuff surgery 8 weeks ago and doing very well . I have done everything he said and I am very impressed with Carilion and Dr.Maher . I am able to sleep now on my back without pain now . I highly reccomend Dr.Maher .
