The office has been going through a transition period but everyone has been very helpful and encouraging despite that! Emily is an excellent care provider, she explains things to me in a way that I can easily understand them and makes sure I know what I'm getting into. Great team of people!
Just go to a different doctoes office that isn't through carilion. Carilion does not see you as a person and the doctors here aline with that same thought. I was ignored multiple times with my issues and lost my faith with doctors due to this very office. Just find somewhere else.
Doctors are great here, and the nurses are too but the lady who answered the phone after I had messed up the time I was supposed to be here (that’s on me,) was extremely rude, short, and snappy. Please hire better receptionists! :)
Misty was great when she was still there and Emily has been good, just still getting used to her. She was out and the office absolutely refused to schedule me with Dr. Freeman even though he's the only other one I've had brief contact with. They scheduled me with a nurse practitioner promising she's great. Jessica, it felt like she didn't want to be dealing with people, especially me, and she would answer questions she asked me before I got a chance. Since Misty left the place is obviously going down hill. Her replacement for me was very inattentive and unprofessional. I will never return to this location.
