Both my mother and husband have tried making appointments here and were met with the nastiest attitude from whoever does the scheduling. I work at Carilion and this was embarrassing as an employee from my own company. If you can’t be nice over the phone (literally your job) while telling someone they need to wait 10 months for an appointment, maybe you need to consider the drive through window or a convenience store.

If you're looking for a physician who truly cares about you as a human, and is not just moving through the day of appointments, Dr. Sargent is it. Period. She is the most empathetic primary care physician I have ever met in my 40 years of life. I am truly blessed to have found her and that she had availability for both me and my husband to onboard as new patients. This office is nothing but a sad joke. They accuse you of never reaching out to them, but do not want to see the proof that you have been calling regarding care for weeks. Dr. Sargent is rude and unprofessional. I have never experienced a worse doctor. The office takes months to return paperwork and will state they never received it, even after you dropped off paperwork to their front office 4 times then tell you that you’re lying… 110% DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The phone staff here was kind, caring, and helpful as I called to find somewhere to establish care. Although they have a waiting list for new patients, she was quick to provide additional resources to get a time-sensitive need taken care of. Roxy (sp?) obviously cares about helping patients get their needs met.
