I went to GMC on September 23 because my battery warning light was showing on the dashboard. They told me the alternator needed to be replaced and charged me a total of $726, including parts and labor. Out of this, they charged $474 just for the alternator, even though the actual cost of the part is around $200 or less. After 3–4 days, the battery warning light came back on.
