After owning and operating a restaurant for nearly two decades, the “MUFFIN MAN” is back and better than ever at Caribbean Plate in Falls Church, VA. He is the new General Mgr. & Creative Director who plans to spice things up in Northern Virginia by introducing an authentic style of Jamaican cuisine few have tasted.

In my personall it was my first time trying them , I had just randomly came across the restaurant and the server gave me a sample of their food ND I was highly satisfied. Sold. Tried the ox tails 2 or 3 times before. They were a bit pricey but DELICIOUS! I'm from Miami, where Jamaican restaurants are everywhere. The few Jamaican restaurants that I've tried here in the DMV were not impressive until I found Caribbean Plate! Today I tried the curry chicken for the first time. Delicious but not as spicy as I'm used to. However, they must have changed the cabbage and this new stuff is shredded and nasty. The plaintains are always delicious and never too greasy. Overall a great restaurant!
This was my FIRST time here and it was DELICIOUS! The pohotos of Bob Marley was a nice touch! I'll definitely be back when I'm in town.
