We went for trivia and enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was very good. Kyle did an excellent job and was very professional. My husband had the keg burger and I had chicken wings. Both were delicious! I loved the homemade pretzels and beer cheese. I honestly want to buy it and eat it on crackers. We will be back!
Aug 17th was my 3 visit and the first time that is was reasonably busy. What I suspected the first couple of visits came true last night. While the food is great and have one of the best beer selections in the area, the layout is awful. Everyone seems to want to congregate in the small room where the bar is located, that means that there are all these little areas where a customer can get forgotten about because it seems to be set up as 5 little rooms. Really good food and great tap selection, but every time I've been there the bar staff struggles to keep up and it takes way too long to get a simple draught beer, and the last time I was there I watched for an hour during a busy time, and pretty much everyone I saw that ordered a beer got short-poured. a lot of people don't realize it, but the top 1 inch of a standard pint glass accounts for 25% of the entire pint, so when I just watched 30 people get poured beers at Carey's with an inch and a half of foam, a lot of people ... read more
