If I could give a ZERO star I would!! I've NEVER been turned away for a physical because they have no Physician. I also specifically called in 8/17 to ask if I could be billed for a work physical instead of paying upfront, I spoke with Mary, she said yes that's absolutely okay! Today 8/18 nope they don't bill for that.
The care was quick, I was there for maybe 20 minutes max. However, they charged me almost $1200 for a strep test and a blood pressure reading. That was the only thing they tested me for. Even after insurance I still owe almost $300.
The staff was wonderful, knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. They helped my son right away, and did not rush us. Even gave him a popsicle, took his blood pressure, and had him rest a while when he felt dizzy. I was so impressed and will look forward to returning.
The receptionist answering the phone would not take the time or make the effort to simply see if they take my insurance. I was told to call my insurance company and ask them. It was Sunday afternoon when insurance company’s are closed. As if this urgent care doesn’t know what insurance they take? With that type of service being the 1st contact with this company I can only imagine the type of care they give. Needless to I will not be going. Luckily, there are many choice choices in the state College area.
I’ve had nothing but good experiences at this clinic. All staff are knowledgeable and courteous. I have to say something about the negative reviews I read. All of you think you’re entitled!!!! I had to shake my head and laugh at a lot of the reviews, because obviously you don’t know how things work. You can schedule an appointment here, reason people are seen before you. It is not the nurses fault when things are not uploaded about the appointment, the doctor has to finish his notes and most can’t until the end of the day. B... read more
