Reconsider any referral using Caretenders. Do not recommend. Company will provide the minimal services possible to meet getting paid by insurance still. Realistically has some very good staff but that is highly overshadowed by the inconsistencies of their scheduling, personnel, and communication. The high level of inconsistency justifies the 1 star rating as the objective of the service falls way short, especially for elderly need.
Every time I have called the office, the staff has immediately helped me with all my questions. The care that my mother has received has been amazing. She is improving everyday with the assistance of Caretenders.
If you’re considering CareTenders for home health services, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. My experience with this company has been nothing short of appalling. From unprofessional staff to an outright disturbing approach to patient communication, CareTenders has demonstrated an alarming lack of competence and compassion. Worse company I have ever had and I am 74 years old. Not on time when given a half hour arrival time frame. Instructions were not made clear. If I could give a minus 5 even that would be generous.
I’ve been absolutely blown away by the professionalism and care shown by the CareTenders staff to my mother. They go above and beyond to make sure we are informed and that she is being properly treated. Anne Le Clerc was amazing. We’ve had a similar experience with my father-in-law.
