Absolutely ludicrous. I'll leave it at that.
We did not know when the Dr. recomended home health nurse what it would entail. The first time no matter how late at night you have to let them take 3 hrs to get started. Tell them your plan for a fire, tornado, flood, how many smoke alarms you have,how many people live in the house"for their safety ", no matter how much they have to do they will stretch it to 2x per week , they dont just stick to what they were sent for. My mother in law was supposed to receive help with showering once a week. So my husband tells the aid that she has to go to doctor appointments on Mondays and Tuesdays. The aid calls on Tuesday and says when can she comes out, after she knows she can't do that. So the aid tells my husband oh well I will see you next week. So my mother in law hasn't had anyone to help her weekly. One time in three weeks has someone come to help her.
