I went for a pre-employment drug screen. I didn’t have enough of a sample (my urine was opaque) staff member gave me 4 cups of water and a “shy bladder” paper to sign. After 3 hours I was ready to urinate and the sample looked dilute. I asked the staff member if it was too dilute and he said “it’s fine”. I appear at my prospective employer’s office today and they said they can’t move forward with my hire because the drug test came back “negative dilute” no exceptions. That’s not my fault. I like the people that work there and the clinic is clean and welcoming
I went there and while I was in the waiting room the physician came out and made inappropriate jokes about my partner and then proceeded to ask me information that falls under hippa in the middle of the waiting room. The doctor said he likes working on Sunday because no one ever shows up and he’s gotten to a point in his career where he feels lazy and is just waiting to retire. We were so uncomfortable that we left and then went to mdnow which was professional and did a great job.
