Your receptionist was extremely unprofessional. My son just got discharged after surgery and I was told this pharmacy was just across the street and we’d be able to pick up his prescription there for these special lollipops to help with his pain. I politely said “Hi, I’m here to pick up a prescription for my son, ______.” I don’t recall what she asked or how I responded to have her yell at me that she can’t hand over a prescription to just anyone.
