I would like to give a special shout out to Autumn. My aunt Lynda spoke to her yesterday and we've been trying to figure out her medical and medicine needs. Come to find out she doesn't even have Care Oregon and has United health care and she went over and beyond with helping her. She nows has a scheduled heart appointment and she helped refill her medicine thank you.
Just recently use the number to call ask about benefits. The people online are normally pretty nice and so was she the last couple I’ve gotten not so much when they transfer me crude brass rude, and fast that they can’t seem to get you off the phone fast enough I had questions about getting a new clinic for myself even though I love my doctor. This outfit has a phone wall from hell. Just try getting beyond the "automated" answering system to an actual human being. What a damn waste of time. There is no "customer service" at CareOregon. And now, the other shoe has dropped. Beginning Jan. 1, 2026, the "Healthy Foods" program has been axed. No more quarterly food subsidy - hello food insecurity. I used to used my quarterly stipend to buy fresh fruits like bananas, peaches and pears, melons, berries, along with vanilla yogurt (Greek is best, IMO), skim or 1% milk, ble... read more
They've grown far too big and so therefore they dont even seem to know what they are doing!!! Never under any circumstance pre-pay something and expect to get reimbursed. It will NOT happen, even if you speak to 4 customer service reps and a manager who assures you that you will. This happened to us and we escalated the issue. They even reviewed the call recordings, acknowledged that we were given bad info (multiple times) and still wouldnt reimburse us for the therapy!! Just got off the phone with somebody from Care Oregon after waiting 2 1/2 hours more to speak to someone they were exceedingly condescending wouldn’t let me finish sentences before they interrupted me and while I was trying to find out information, they refused to comment on something that I obviously didn’t know anything about, which is the reason I was asking them questions and calling them because I do not know anything about it the information I was trying to find out about .
