Optum is an absolute scam. Doctors will wrongly overbill you for higher CPT codes on office visits than services actually rendered. When you try to ask for further details with billing, they are of zero help, they don't provide explanations behind the CPT code used, and then when I question them about the CPT codes I found on their own website, they say that they don't even recognize it. Then if you want to ask the doctor for an explanation for the CPT code billed, they will bill you again for it. SCAM RUN AWAY

We Wish there were ratings far lower than an overage one here; optum deserves no higher than minus 100! Not only most disgruntled patients, but equally important their own physicians, nurses and support staff could corroborate and substantiate such gloomy characterization of optum to loss of confidence of Optum services or lack thereto .
