Dr. Ma has been great with my care in 2 separate instances. My first l, 6 years ago, when I broke my foot. The second just recently with my achilles tendon repair. Her PAs are awesome. Her staff has been great also. Optum can be a pain to deal with. The building can be hard to get into when you are injured. How crazy is that! But the doctor is fantastic and has very high standards.
The 2 Woumans at the front desk of orthopedic are terrible rude I do g know why they are still there after so many complaints at and surveys and the people from scheduling are not better
Abysmal scheduling and customer service. They constantly canceled my wife's appointments and offered no recourse. It's all on the CUSTOMER (not patient, mind you) to call back and reschedule. That in itself is also a very painful experience. This location has a serial appointment canceling problem. It's not only a hassle but the fact that they keep doing this tells me that the patient's health is secondary or tertiary to everything else Optum has in their business plan. I have nothing but respect for my doctor and my children's pediatrician who were with Caremount before the company changed to Optum. The way Optum runs their company is horrible. I used to to able speak directly to the nurses in my doctors office and my children's. Now I have to speak to some random person who pulls up my chart or my children's. They don't know me other than what they see on a chart. Every month I have to call to refill my child's medication and it never fails that I get an incompetent person on the line. Tw... read more
