On Tuesday, August 12th, my mother was expecting a home health aide from Carelinx to assist her with light household tasks. The assigned aide, Valarie, failed to show up and informed my mother she would come “at some point next week,” which is highly unprofessional. After we reported her absence to the company, Valarie sent my mother an inappropriate and disrespectful text message. I am a caregiver through Medicare with Carelinx. The worst customer service I have ever received. I have called 11 times and in total have been on hold over 29 hours…. Yes 29 hours. One day it was 5 hours 37 minutes and when I finally get to talk to someone they disconnected me!! Absolutely rediculous!!!
I hired an aide named ERICA MONIQUE Plummer. She advertised her rate at $13/hr. I gave her the address ahead of time & asked if it was too far for her to travel to, she said no. I called her about 2 hours before I needed her per our arrangement so she would know when to meet me at my dad's house. I was traveling to his place from out of state. She called us about 30 minutes before she was to be there & said it wasn't really worth the money to travel 30 minutes 1 way just to help me for an hour & that she would need paid more... read more
Not a robust company at providing caregivers. Paid for membership and after more than 1 week, I've had zero prospects for caregivers. They have a database that APPEARS to have several people meet your criteria, but when you message them, you never hear back. Or if you do, it's "I'm unavailable". When I used Care.com I have several candidates reply and willing to interview. This Carelinx is terrible.
