horrible rude front desk. went to a new dermatologist inScottsdale. what a colossal difference. BYE
So happy I found Dr. Kallal in Carefree. I love that it's a small office with just Dr. Kallal & her staff. She paid more attention to spots/moles that any other dermatologist I've seen in the last 10 years. Sharon at the front desk is so nice and totally on the ball with everything. Doug is a super sweet guy who always makes me smile. I much prefer the feel of this small, personal office to the big, multi doctor/multi location clinics.
I just had an appointment with Susan and she is a fine, fine doctor. She must also be a fine, caring person to withstand all of the poor reviews of her assistant and yet keep giving him a chance to remain employed. It appears to me he is now in the back with her, getting the rooms ready, having the patient's records at hand, etc. Let's let Susan's compassion run it's course. I could tell she is fully aware of the situation. We all love turnaround stories and if anyone can make it happen it will be Susan.
Steer clear. While Susan is a fine doctor, her (now fired) office manager Doug lacked the skills/ability to do his job at all. Agree with other posts that perhaps he's a family member or something. The net net is that I've just received a $10,000 bill for services rendered over the last 3 years... Doug captured my insurance information and billed them as any other provider does - or so I thought. Now it seems NOTHING was ever billed to my insurance provider (and I changed jobs twice during this time)... and Susan won't call ... read more
Review Update: Dr. Kallal is still wonderful and amazing surgeon. I've had five incisions in the past six months and none have left a scar. Primary update is reception and appointment contact. Sharon is new and she's wonderful.
