CTC does a wonderful job! – To Whom It May Concern: Over 2 years ago, I was a COO for an electronic company, and had been for 15 years. I was shocked to be part of a new growing society of Executives who were displaced, confused and sadden at the situation they found themselves in. Yes, I had been “downsized”… now what? I went through the typical shock, depression and optimistic review of who I knew and who was out there that would be excited to hire me. Well, that didn’t work out the way I had planned. Nine months later, af... read more

Satisfied Client – After being a client with Career Transition Center, they delivered everything they said they would do for me and more! Rick had great training seminars that I attended, Julie set up my letter campaign, Jay called the companies and setup interviews for me in front of C-level Executives, I was completely satisfied with my agreement with Rick Davis. In hard times & 15 to 30 % of America out of work. I need all the help I could get to get in front of the right C-level Executives that could help my career achie... read more

Dont do what I did – This service is expensive and the communication and results are poor. They sell you hard on their service when you are the most vulnerable, out of work. Information provided is out of date and un-helpful. They suggest finding jobs in the "hidden market", if you have a lot of time, money and patience it might work. The contacts in the office are slow to respond and return calls once they have your money. You could "tap" into the "hidden market" as well with out dumping your money to do it. Just send cover... read more

comments not from clients – I have read all the reviews and did some investigation to find that all the flowery comments were placed by CTC. These were not the comments of clients. Nonetheless, the internet is a useful tool but can be and is misused by many persons. Companies such as CTC are providing services and it is a shame that they and companies such as they have to defend themselves against comments by individuals who won't take responsibility for their own actions.

Beware! – I contacted CTC four days ago (I am writing this in December 2008). I was asked to e-mail my resume directly to Julie at the address she provided, which I did. I had been told that my resume would be forwarded to a career counselor and that I could expect to hear from someone by early afternoon the next day. It is now midday on the third day after I initially contacted CTC. I just got off the phone with Julie. I explained that I was calling to follow up because I had not heard anything after submitting my resume se... read more

Worked For Me – Career Transition Centers (CTC) is not a headhunter. If you are looking for a service that just puts your resume out to potential employers - don't go there. You cannot be lazy and and suceed with their program. You have a financial investment in YOUR success with CTC; therefore, what you get is what you put forth. Rick Davis reviewed the entire program with me, including the contract, and timeline, in great detail. He was specific as to what CTC would and would not do. It was a clear explanation of what was ... read more

Great for professional people – I found that CTC offers a really valuable service for the true professional. I was able to easily market products and services, but when it came to marketing myself, it was a different story. They helped me to realize additional opportunities and how to market myself more effectively to companies that they helped me target. But like everything, you get out of it in direct proportion to what you put in. And they cannot get you a job for which you are not qualified. But they certainly made the s... read more

Great job services – I would highly recommend Career Transition Centers. They helped me write my resume, get a job offer in the industry I wanted and helped me to start with a higher salary than I was offered by assisting me with my counter offer. Actually, the owner has successfully helped me counter two job offers in the past ten years and I landed both jobs. I found the seminars on Negotiating, Interviewing, Paradigms and more offered by the owner to be extremely beneficial in my career search. One of the other things tha... read more
