I hired Dee to help me through a career transition. I found myself needing a change after owning a business for many years. She helped me explore the skills I had that would transfer to other opportunities. We worked on lists of possible careers, lists of my skills and natural gifts. She assisted me with my LinkedIn profile and my resume. All of this would have been overwhelming to me but she made it manageable and helped me focus. Seems like a nice enough person, didn't help me at all find a job. Considering her hourly rate one would expect focused fast help, yet after our first session I felt no better off and indeed, despite my skillset find no employment at all as a result of her assistance. I don't claim to be great at finding work on my own, but if she is being paid to help with somebody's career and provides no help I think that warrants a negative review.
