I am writing to formally express serious concerns regarding the conduct of the physical therapist currently assigned to work with my mother. I am deliberately choosing not to name him at this time out of respect, but I strongly urge that this matter be addressed with urgency. These people have zero empathy & do not care. The hospital set me up with this company after I had surgery for an ileostomy. They read something in my medical records referring to fentanyl & they tell me the nurses refuse to come to my house because they are afraid of ingesting it. I assured them that there is NO fentanyl in my house. (BTW, even though it's been demonized, fentanyl is a legitimate pain medication for people suffering after radical surgery.) A salute to nurse Kaylyn Eiland. I called my mom and she told me “someone wants to talk to you.” My mother handed the phone to Kaylyn who told me she needed to call an ambulance for mom as her heart rate was too rapid. She even waited for the ambulance to arrive and personally called me to let me know mom was on her way. Very calm and professional.
After my hip replacement, I received A+ in home physical therapy from Anabelle B. I was very happy with the service provided by Care First.
