I broke my leg and needed Aide care for a shower. We could not get anyone to come to the house. I called Care Alternatives, Inc., and they sent the most wonderful, caring, happy, aide to help me with showering, since I had not had a shower since before I was hospitalized. That's right no one in the hospital even offered a washcloth. I cannot tell you what being clean does for a patient's morale and general well being. Thank you Denise for coming to my rescue. Thankful, grateful, and appreciative are just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of the service and support provided by the staff of Care Alternatives. After my 91 year old father fell and cracked his hip, he and I suffered through a few weeks of incredibly frustrating experiences with hospitals, health care providers, and even a home health aide service that lied about their staff's qualifications. The compassion, empathy and organizational skills that Denise, Beverly and their crew showed my family and I, are beyond words. We are so grateful to these people and how they handled and cared for my aunt. I would call outside of the scheduled time and they were able to find someone at a moments notice. Thank you Care Alternatives and special thanks to Patricia (Pat) and of course, Cheryl. These two ladies became part of our family while caring for my aunt. They were professional yet warm and caring.
