Typical car buying experience. Not fun. As a female they treated me like I had no idea what I was doing. Tried to buy my trade in for 2000 less than the Kelly book value like I would accept that. Promised a full tank of gas but “lost” the gas card. Promised my car was cleaned but they didn’t clean it. Told me to come back tomorrow for those things. It was okay. Mazda as a company has been an excellent company to work with, but taking one stat for not delivering on the Mazda mission statement. I drive a 2018 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. Its not dark red, its Soul Red Crystal Metallic; a very distinct color of red that Mazda perfected first and other car companies tried to copy. I love Mazda, this is my 2nd Mazda vehicle. Even with an appointment, it took three hours to do an oil change, tire rotation, air filter change and update software from a recall. When I arrived I asked the service technician about two concerns. These were not addressed as he seemed to forget, then citing “we’re really busy”, but he wasn’t the one who worked on the car for three hours, so essentially he had two items he could have researched within that time. Very poor, I brought my vehicle in for repairs, told the service advisor the issue. After 2 weeks of having my vehicle they stated it was a different issue said it need a certain part. When I picked up the vehicle it still had same problem. Took it to a jeep mechanic they had it 2 days, found the problem i was talking about and had it fixed in 3 hrs. If you don’t know what you are talking about or have no idea about the type of vehicle you are working on, don’t touch it
