This man is a Genius when it comes to carburetor and the technology required to have them perform at their best. My son has a 1972 Chevy pickup truck, one tone 4 wheel drive automatic. It was giving him tons of carburetor problems that affect her daily driving ability. We dropped off the truck to him on Thursday, and we picked her up Friday. Charged me twice what I was quoted on the phone. Rude and dismissive. To be avoided, I will never return.
I had my stock ford carb rebuilt for my 351w engine for my older ford van. Carb techs are hard to come by these days especially good ones. I looked at the review ratings and was uncertain if I should try, but this business was highly recommended by a shop I used to work at back in the 90's so I took a chance. Recently my Glastron 2004 would no longer start, I knew it had no spark, wanted to have them to diagnose it since they changed only $100. they said I needed to replace my entire ignition system and quoted me $1200, i said no thanks, went online did some research and was able to fix it for $20 by only replacing ignition sensor. Found a nice manual that explain really well on how to identify the issue with voltage meter, not sure why these mechanics couldn’t do the same.
