Just had a wonderful experience with Dr. Bonnie. Syd gave me an awful scare this morning when I realized he couldn't pee, thinking it was a Urinary Block which is fairly common for male cats, and can pretty deadly if it's not caught quick enough. They let me bring him in as soon as I could. Turns out, it is some sort of UTI and we've got him on some kitty drugs and antibiotics to take care of it. We just moved here in June and my 10-year-old terrier had recently been diagnosed diabetic. Ben, Marilyn, Michelle, Emily (and even Thundercat), were so kind, empathic and generous with their time in helping us get settled into the new routine. I'll see the ladies in town and they always ask about Saul. Their authentic passion for what they do is heartwarming, as is their professionalism and understanding that budgeting can be tough with an unexpected diagnosis. I have high expectations of my vets--one of my cats is named after a veterinary hospital and a veterinarian, so you might say I take their care seriously. After our first to Carbondale Animal Hospital, I suspect Dr. Ben and his staff rank among the best vets we've met.
