Rude to my foreign speaking fiancé , she had written instructions on what we needed , I know seafood very well she doesn’t speak native accents but great English and have a foreign born employee treat her with a condescending rude tone that makes her feel uncomfortable and insulted. Wrong choice . Won’t get our business again . Sure the crowds just landing off the bridge will continue to sustain you for many years but local as it gets knows now undoubtedly , sorry stepped away from my usual spot
First rule in a seafood market: If the fish is good, the place does not smell ‘fishy’. Carawan Seafood does not. Since we are staying in a hotel without a kitchen, we bought two pounds of steamed, local shrimp. These shrimp were about 20 per pound, which I would call extra large or jumbo. Delicious and perfectly steamed.
Best on the Outer Banks. Always look forward to seeing Bob. It makes the vacation great.
